Paula McCalmont joined MCS Group in 2019 and is a Senior Recruitment Consultant specializing in the technology sector. She works closely with organizations and technology professionals, supporting hiring across both permanent and contract positions. Her focus is on understanding the needs of clients and candidates while delivering a recruitment process that is efficient, transparent, and tailored to achieve the right fit.

Paula recruits across a broad range of technology roles, including Software Engineering, DevOps and Cloud, Data, AI and Machine Learning, Quality Assurance and Testing, Infrastructure, Networking, IT Support, Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, Account Management, and Engineering Leadership. She partners with startups, established organizations, and multinational companies, supporting everything from large-scale growth initiatives to strategic individual hires.

She brings international recruitment experience across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Paula is known for her quality-first approach, keeping hiring processes straightforward for clients while maintaining honest, transparent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment journey.

Before joining MCS Group, Paula earned a degree in Communications and Public Relations, traveled extensively throughout East Asia, and spent time working in Australia. She also gained early professional experience in events and customer service.

Outside of work, Paula enjoys traveling, attending live music events, and reading. She loves meeting new people and is always eager to try new experiences.
