We're partnering with an Irish-founded, global software company that has been delivering innovative business management solutions for over 30 years. Their cloud ERP platform is purpose-built for the lumber and building materials sector, empowering dealers, retailers, wholesalers, and distributors to grow, adapt, and thrive.

As they expand operations across North America, they're seeking an ERP Finance Consultant to join their growing US-based team. This is a remote position with occasional US travel.

The Role

As an ERP Finance Consultant, you'll act as both the product and finance process expert, leading customers through the full implementation lifecycle. You'll design and configure core financial modules, guide clients on best practices, support data migration, and ensure smooth, on-time go-lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with clients to gather requirements and map financial processes (GL, AR/AP, chart of accounts, reporting).
• Configure financial modules, integrations, and reporting tools within the ERP platform.
• Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data migration from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy of balances, transactions, and master data.
• Act as subject matter expert on GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls during implementations.
• Train customer project teams and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to ensure self-sufficiency.
• Support the development team by defining specs for modifications, testing enhancements, and documenting outcomes.
• Provide financial module demonstrations and input during pre-sales engagements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful, on-schedule delivery.
• Deliver post-go-live support to ensure continuity of customer experience.

About You

We're looking for a finance-focused ERP professional who thrives at the intersection of accounting and technology.

Requirements:

• Strong ERP implementation or consulting experience.
• CPA or financial certifications is highly desired
• Strong understanding of accounting standards (GAAP) and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on expertise with ERP financial modules (GL, AR/AP, reporting).
• Strong technical aptitude with ETL, SQL/reporting, and integrations.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, able to lead workshops and present at senior level.
• Experience in the lumber and building materials industry.
