We're partnering with an Irish-founded, global software company that has been delivering innovative business management solutions for over 30 years. Their next-generation cloud ERP platform, is purpose-built for the lumber and building materials sector.
The Role
As a Senior .NET Developer, you'll take a lead role in designing and building a market-leading desktop ERP application while contributing to the evolution of the wider technology stack. You'll work across .NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL Server, Redis, Mongo, and DevExpress, supported by a mature ALM system built around Azure DevOps.
You'll collaborate closely with web client development teams, support cross-functional departments, and contribute to special project teams and internal innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and deliver high-quality desktop ERP application features.
- Work within our Agile environment across .NET, .NET Core, Desktop, and Web applications.
- Collaborate with client-side teams on state-of-the-art web client technology.
- Support cross-department teams including PMO, CSO, Sales, and Marketing.
- Contribute to innovation via internal hack days and special project teams.
- Conduct profiling and performance analysis to optimize applications.
- Mentor and support junior engineers in their development.
About You
You're an experienced .NET engineer with strong problem-solving skills and a track record of designing scalable, reliable applications. You thrive in an agile environment, can balance technical excellence with delivery, and enjoy mentoring others while staying hands-on with development.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with .NET stack development experience (Windows Forms preferred).
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server.
- Proficiency in designing and building scalable, well-structured solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and development patterns.
- Experience with profiling tools (e.g. Redgate ANTS).
- Experience in lumber, building materials, construction, accounting, or related industries is highly preferred.
